Abbeymead is a two-form entry school. Our Published Admission Number (PAN) is 60 (30 per class).

In Gloucestershire children can start primary school, if their parents wish, in the September of the school year in which they become five. For children due to start in September 2025 the child's date of birth falls between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021. The school year starts on 1 September.
Applications must be made to Gloucestershire County Council for every child stating school in September 2025.
Parents can apply online 24 hours a day, seven days a week from November until midnight on 15 January or by completing a paper form which can be downloaded from Gloucestershire County Council School Admissions webpage, or requested from the County Council's Co-ordinated Admissions Team on 01452 425407.

Admission Appeals
